First One

In my sabbatical plan proposal, I said I would be doing primary and secondary research on pedagogy. My primary research would consist of observing colleagues from other campuses.

So tomorrow is the first observation: Dr. Ruth Cronje in the English Department at UW-Eau Claire, has graciously allowed me to sit in on her first-year composition course and her scientific and technical writing course. She'll be teaching about summaries in the comp course and syntax in the stc course. It'll be great!
